Amil Haque

Amil Haque is a citizen of India. He obtained the B.S. Degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA with highest honor in the Spring of 2004. He continued with graduate studies in electrical engineering at The Georgia Institute of Technology in the fall of 2004. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree under Dr. Tentzeris. Presently he is working on modeling slanted microstrip circuits using the FDTD method. Previously he worked on testing meta materials using coplanar waveguide technology.

During his undergraduate years Amil did undergraduate research with several professors. His research work included learning about MPEG and JPEG compression systems and error concealment methods, photonic crystal fabrication and analysis, and structural health monitoring.
